Welcome to the blog Dr David Petts – this site covers a pretty diverse range of topics but has a broad focus on folklore and traditions, archaeology, hauntology and psychogeography with some scenic diversions. These subject reflect both my personal and professional preoccupations – there is relatively little dividing line between the two. However, this not a formal academic blog and it reflects my own personal views and not those of the people who pay my wages.

If you want to find out more about me and the day job in the Department of Archaeology at Durham you can find me here. I am also to be found on Twitter @davidpetts1
